Neonatal hyperbilirubinemia due to polycythaemia

A condition characterized as an increased level of bilirubin above 85 umol/l (5 mg/dL) which manifests as yellowing of the eyes, skin, and other tissues of a Newborn due to the presence of a disease state in which the proportion of Blood volume that is occupied by red blood Cells increases.
